In November 2008, the Arkansas Lottery received approval.

Mega Millions and Powerball.

In addition to those national games, the Arkansas Lottery further distributes an arks-only number to an arkans-only game (Cash 3, Cash 4, Lucky for Life, Natural State Jackpot, and LOTTO).

Most of the lottery revenue is provided to scholarship educational programs in the state. The lottery has generated money to help local college scholarship fund. Specifically, it has been reported that certain players have also become the millionaires from several hundred million of jackpots, and the providers of the corresponding lotteries have themselves accumulated several million dollars in commissions.

  • Lottery participants must be at least 18 years old?

    You are not allowed to play unless you are at least 18 years old.
  • Which games are available for play in Arkansas?

    Lucky for Life, Natural State Jackpot, Cash 3, Cash 4, LOTTO, Mega Millions and Powerball.
  • Is it possible to buy tickets ahead of time?

    It is feasible to buy lottery tickets for multiple draws (2 and 20) in advance.
  • Where are the lottery funds allocated?

    The proceeds of tickets sold to college students are being used to finance college scholarships.
  • When is the deadline to claim my prize?

    At least 180 days (from the date of the drawing to the date of the claim) are needed to get the prize.
  • What should I do if my ticket is got lost or stolen?

    Arkansas Lottery disclaims all liability for, lost and destroyed tickets and replacement tickets will not be issued. It is suggested that the "reverse side" of a ticket be "ink marked" to deter, e.g., ticket theft. Provided that, at some later date, you wish to claim your ticket, it is advisable to confirm details at the back of the booklet in case it is misplaced.
  • Do I have to pay taxes on Arkansas Lottery winnings?

    E.g, this is in part because, with regard to gambling winnings, federal and state taxes are withheld on a $5,000 level of income.
  • If I win a lottery, can I remain anonymous?
